Beginning in the fall semester of 2026, Newsmatics is joining forces with the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. This collaboration aims to immerse students in practical business and artificial intelligence projects, utilizing Newsmatics’ data and technological resources. Student teams will have the opportunity to present their findings to the company’s leadership, potentially leading to the real-world implementation of their projects.
The initial focus of these projects will explore several key areas, including enhancing marketing effectiveness, pinpointing potential customers, evaluating new market opportunities, boosting sales through artificial intelligence, and selecting suitable AI tools for customer service. Moreover, students will investigate methods to enhance communication with various customer segments, providing them with hands-on experience in addressing real business challenges.
Building on its existing partnerships with Masaryk University’s Faculty of Informatics and Faculty of Social Studies, Newsmatics has previously engaged students in projects involving software engineering, artificial intelligence, and data science. These collaborations have not only enriched the educational experience but also paved the way for some students to secure professional roles within the company.
As part of the expanded partnership, Newsmatics employees will actively participate in classroom activities, sharing their expertise in areas such as AI, global news monitoring, and media technology product development. The program offers students a range of opportunities, including paid internships, part-time positions, thesis projects aligned with company assignments, and potential employment with Newsmatics after graduation.
David Rothstein, the CEO of Newsmatics, expressed that the partnership is designed to provide students with a platform to test their ideas against real business challenges, offering them valuable insights into the applicability of their concepts beyond the academic environment.
